Tibetan Snow Lion


Tibetan Snow Lion



The snow lion is the national symbol of Tibet. There are two snow lions of their flag and snow flags can be seen in a lot of Tibetan art work and the most auspicious snow lions are those with a blue mane.

According to Tibetan legends the snow lion comes from China and represents spiritual power. Also, the prayer flags that can be seen all over Tibet and Nepal have an image of a snow lion and it is the symbol of fearlessness, joy and unconditional cheerfulness.
