Here at Shangrila Craft we love our malas! We love wearing them, we love making them and we love finding new ways to 'decorate' them.
I made wear this one a lot, its my birthstone and I love the shape of the pendant.
For our special malas, sometimes we add a pendant. They are especially nice on a long mala necklace.
We have started carrying pendants for all you mala makers! We have lots made from mother of pearl and also Chinese black stone. The laughing Buddha is something you see a lot of here in China. He is very lucky and known to bring luck to the wearer.
He was a real monk, that loved to travel around the country. He became 'famous' for his bag that he always carried with him. His bag was full of candy that he would give to the children he met in the villages, where he would stay and play game and joke with the kids, until he moved to the next village.
